The following awards are given each year for student presentations given at the Annual Seminar. The Awards Committee listens to each presentation and judges them on presentation and content giving a numerical score for each category. After all the student papers have been presented, the scores are tabulated for final results. Prospective candidates for these awards must be students enrolled in an accredited perfusion training program.

Lawrence Award – $500
The American Academy of Cardiovascular Perfusion created the Lawrence Scientific Presentation Award in honor of Earl and Judi Lawrence for their many years of hard work for The Academy.
